T10 Media Launches 3 New Sites

To kick of 2010 we have launched 3 new sites:

SharePoint Monitor – Sharepoint is experiencing massive growth and is fast becoming the de-fact0 intranet and document management solution for businesses.

Azure Support -Microsoft’s new cloud host looks set to rival Amazon’s AWS. Currently the is very little information on using Azure.

Windows Server Help – Despite a massive install base, there are currently few independent community sites providing assistance to Windows Server administrators.

CSharpHelp.com Redesign Launched

We have just launched a major redesign of CSharpHelp.com. Our new platform is built on a customised WordPress and BBPress integration. All T10 Media sites will run on this platform from 2010.

A common and open-source platform for all the sites will allow us to add more content and social features to the portfolio of sites.

New Training Section for SQL-Server-Performance.com Launched

We have just added a training section to SQL-Server-Performance.com . One constant request we have been getting recently is for instructional videos. Static written content is great for indepth info, however task walkthroughs (such as how to install SQL Server) are often best delivered as a video demonstration. The section kicks off with three instructional videos and we will be adding two new videos per month.

In future we will be expanding the training section beyond videos to include training materials for Microsoft’s certification exams and quizzes.

PHP-MySQL-Tutorial.com Site Redesign

PHP-MySQL-Tutorial.com has just been redesigned and updated. The site now has more community features such as forums, blogs and a wiki.

For this redesign we have gone for the standard Community Server platform which comes with great community features right out of the box. All articles are now in the Wiki which will offer more potential for community updating and editing of the articles (one issue we have come across on SQL-Server-Performance.com is that typical CMS’s do not allow for te community to collaborate on articles, resulting in articles becoming out of date or errors not being corrected quick enough). The new site also features a forum and blogs for the first time.
